Manny Pacquiao versus Juan Manuel Marquez Part 3

Manny Pacquiao was successful in giving shame to Shame Mosley although the fight reached the final round without ousting Mosley from the ring. And Juan Manuel Marquez was also successful on his showdown and preparation fight.

What's good with this fight?

Nothing! Hehehe! Actually, Marquez has nothing to show for Pacquiao. I don't know if this bout will be sold just like the previous bouts of Manny Pacquiao. What I knew is that it will be as boring as the Pacman's fight against Mosley.

Remember, Marquez is on its fall. Just like what you have seen on his fight against Floyd Mayweather Jr. he is so slaggish already. He is actually nothing compared to the physical status of Manny Pacquiao.

In the first two bouts of the two boxers, I believed that it was Marquez who won the fight. But this time, he is nothing but a slow boxer whose dream is to earn money by fighting those high prized fighters.

Manny Pacquiao Won But Lost

I was late to post my blogpost about the fight of Manny Pacquiao against Shane Mosley. But I am really right that Manny would win the fight.

But just like what I said in the title of the post, Pacquiao was lost too not from the fight but from his goal of entertaining his fans.

For your information, I was not really entertained by the fight considering that it was just the Pacman who do the showdown. Mosley was there inside the ring not as an opponent but as a punching bag... a live punching bag.

And who would be entertained if one of the fighters in the right is just running away from the other and then he couldn't even throw even a single punch. Then if the other hit him, he would just run into the other and hugged him

This is actually crap fight. And Sustines is true that this fight is really a boring one.

Winning the Bet

Well... What ever. But the truth is I just won the bet.

Our betting actually was not about who would win the fight because both of us believed that it would Pacquiao. We had a betting on who would be down in round 3. My opponent bet for Pacquiao that Pacquiao would be down in 3rd round while I bet with Mosley.

And the result is, Mosley was down in 3rd round just as good as I won the bet. I won actually 1000 pesos. Not quite high but not either low.

Boxing Fight on May 7 Prediction

The fight day of Manny Pacquiao and Shane Mosley is very fast approaching. It's a holy week now in the Philippines where Manny Pacquiao came from, noting that Philippines is the only Catholic nation in Asia. And probably, Manny Pacquiao is currently at rest now observing the important celebration of his religion while Mosley I think is still busy training and preparing for the showdown.

It has been two weeks before the fight. So far, according to the revelation of Bob Arum the owner of the Top Rank promotion promoting the Manny Pacquiao versus Shane Mosley fight, Manny Pacquiao is in good shape and is already good and ready to fight Shane. However, the major TVs in the Philippines is still silent about it and we don't know yet what will be the expectation of the Pacquiao team.

However, as a fan and fellow country man of Pacquiao, I believe and confident that Manny Pacquiao will win and the crown will remain with him. The fight will interesting considering that Shane Mosley even if he is already in his decline is still fast and strong.

The Pacquiao team will win the fight not because the Pacman is strong but because their strategies are best and effective. You see, Manny Pacquiao everytime he fights in the ring is mastering multiple of strategies that work best on his opponents. Since every opponents has his own mannerism, position, physical capabilities and advantages, and other factors, then the Pacman team always came up with different tactics.

Actually, I love the strategy of Pacquaiao where in he ducks yet his left hand flew into the face of his opponent.

The only thing that I didn't like in Pacman style is the way he allow his opponent to punch him in the body just to excite the people watching. It's not good. He's just giving his opponent the time and the chance to defeat him. I noticed it not only once but everytime he has the fight.

I understand that he wants his fans to enjoy his fight. But doing this is his disadvantage. And I know, Mosley is already studying this and he already has a thing to do in the ring if ever Manny will do this again to him.

The only thing that I have seen in my vision is that Mosley's strategies are not so good for Pacquiao in the sense that Pacquiao is playing different movements everytime he steps on the ring. Except of course of those thing I mentioned above.

So, what Mosley can do on the fight night is to wait for Pacquiao to do careless acts like what he did before. If ever Pacquiao will be careful at this time, then there will be no chance for Mosley to win.

Of course I know, Mosley is strong. You already have seen what happened to Mayweather on the early rounds. If Mosley is as good as Pacquiao during the Mayweather fight, he already had put Mayweather on the canvas during the time when Mayweather felt the hurt of the punch of Mosley.

But fighting Pacman is not the worst thing Mosley did even if he will lost on this fight considering that Mosley will be earning money too.

It might be true that Pacquiao has bigger purse than him but millions of dollars is still huge. Anyone who will fight Pacquiao will really earn not just Filipino followings but also money from the fight. That is the thing.
